Most of the features inside the Android casino monster are running in the pure Android environment. These include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, SD card , camera, LED light, and sensors. However, the camera’s code is currently being tested internally, for it needs proprietary binaries, which can’t be given out in an open source.
Sony has revealed that the next step in updating the Xperia Z mobile casino games device will be exchanging some binaries for the original source code. Sony will also release binaries to allow the NFC to operate flawlessly.
The AOSP project is handled by Sony senior software people Bjorn Andersson and Johan Redestig. It’s accessible to everyone from the company’s official GitHub storage.
Just to remind everyone, the Xperia Z is the current Sony flagship, sporting a 1.5GHz U, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built in memory and a microSD card slot for further extension. The device was released in February this year.
