Tabcorp managing director and chief executive Elmer Funke Kupper says the group has noticed a huge surge in the popularity of and demand for mobile gambling solutions, and is urging the company to move in a direction that would allow them to increase their online presence, and to move into the mobile casino industry. 1h494d

Their foray into mobile phone gambling began a few months ago when they launched an iPad casinos as well.

“Those investments will put Tabcorp at the forefront of the wagering technology on the internet and mobile devices and will allow us to compete with the best operators in the world,” Funke Kupper said.

Tabcorp also plans to give their internet gambling offerings an upgrade, with complete rebuild scheduled for some time in the next 12 months.
